Section 360-2.1 Introduction. This Subpart explains the application/ recertification
process for MA including:
(a) the applicant's/recipient's obligations in verifying eligibility
and continuing eligibility.
(b) the social services district's obligation in verifying eligibility
and continuing eligibility;
(c) the requirement that the social services district explain the MA
program to applicants/recipients and inform them of other assistance and services for
which they may be eligible; and
(d) the responsibility of the social services district to make prompt
eligibility decisions and to notify applicants/recipients of decisions.
