360-10.11 Technical assistance.
Social services districts may request technical assistance from the department, the
Department of Health or another appropriate State agency, to develop and implement a
managed care plan. Such assistance may include provision and analysis of data, design of
an MCP and managed care plan, innovative payment mechanisms and on-going consultation with
appropriate State agencies. The department will also make available informational and
educational materials about managed care to assist the social services districts in
educating MA recipients about how they will receive care through an MCP.
