These annual statistics were obtained from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) through the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL). The original OTDA data is available upon request.

These tables contain the annual total of Fair Hearing issues decided by outcome reason code. The outcome reason codes are explained on the last page of each table.

There are three separate sets of tables: on a statewide basis, for New York City (NYC) and for the rest of the state (ROS).

The NYC set contains separate tables for each New York City Job Center, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Center, and other departments, offices and units whose determinations are subject to review at Fair Hearings.

The ROS set contains separate tables for each of the 57 county social services districts outside of New York City.
